Life, in a Nutshell

Well, it’s been very busy here, and I haven’t really had much time to write. Or perhaps I just haven’t had the inclination. But now that I’m back in school, I’m happy to procrastinate from homework. Grin.

It’s been a good and busy summer. I finished my Calculus II class about six weeks ago, and enjoyed the five week break. Kelly and I did a bit of traveling.

First, the weekend after Kelly’s birthday, we went up to Sedona for most of the weekend. Although we weren’t able to stay very long, it was great to get out of town. We drove up on a Saturday, and went and took a hike in the afternoon.

Sunday morning we took a hike up the west fork of Oak Creek. It was fun, but pretty crowded. And since we didn’t have enough time to hike far enough to get away from the crowds, it wasn’t the best. But it was still very beautiful. I’ll post a couple of pics.
