More House Stuff

This is the view out our window, which you
can't really see, because it's all washed out.
It's the Catalina mountains, which are pretty nice.




















I'm also building a little endtable/nightstand.
I went down to a local woodworkers supply place,
and got a seven foot piece of Mahogany. I'm putting
Danish oil finish on it this morning/afternoon.

New House Stuff

I built these bookshelves for our bedroom.
They are poplar, with an oil finish. It was fun
to do a little woodworking, since it's been a
long time since I've done any.

I went offroading today with some Lex and some other friends. Lex foolishly trusted me to drive his truck a fair bit, and I didn't wreck it. :-) We had a good time. Here are a few photos.
